Remember the phrase, “if it seems too good to be true, it probably is?” Many of life’s early lessons were accompanied by this statement. So, does the same principle applies to those “Gas Station Erection Pills” aka "male enhancement" pills? Men, you know exactly the stuff I’m talking about - those eye-catching, ornately packaged capsules displayed at the point of purchase at the gas station, convenience store, or local bodega. Sorry to burst your bubble, but those pills won't do anything for male sexual enhancement or your confidence.
You probably have seen versions of the enticing packaging a thousand times at your local convenience stores. The male enhancement pills with names like Rhino 2500, PowerZen, Black Mamba, Super Panther, Yohimbe, and Extenze. These products promise everything from male enhancement (code for larger penis length, width, and girth, like a rhino) to providing explosive orgasms, better ejaculatory control, and rock-hard boners. One of the best-selling pills, Rinozen Black Fire "Rhino" by name, even guarantees that one pill “lasts up to eleven days.” Increased sexual stamina for eleven straight days from a single dose. That’s absolutely incredible!
Unfortunately, it’s not amazing. It’s also not true. These pills aren't increasing penis size. Men need to be aware that these products can be downright dangerous, have adverse side effects... especially if you are taking other medications that control blood pressure or have heart conditions. Let's examine what's in these pills, the claims that they make, the safety factors, and what you actually can do to safely and naturally improve your sexual health.
So what's in these pills? Here is the simple answer. You truly have no idea. First, these pills are classified as herbal supplements, and, therefore, are not required to be approved or regulated in any way by the Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Also, the FDA warns consumers about the dangers of such dickcraft. Second, many of these pills are manufactured in unsanitary, overseas factories. Finally, these products are often made with unsafe and illegal ingredients, including heavy metals, unknown substances and fillers, and even counterfeit prescription medications, such as Viagra and Cialis. Over the past year alone, the FDA has issued dozens of public notifications warning about the dangers of enhancement pills.
For the fun of it, let's take a survey. Ask any doctor if he or she thinks that you should take enhancement pills. Out of 100 doctors, how many do you think would say it's a good idea? None. Not a single one. The claims are ridiculous and the symptoms and side effects are even worse.
They include the following:
Ben Greenfield, the exercise enthusiast, and writer for Men's Health Magazine, personally tested many of these supplements and wrote about what they made him feel like, his experience here. While many of the promises aren’t even close to accurate, but some are, and not for the reasons you may think.
Of all the claims, this is the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Just think for a minute about how absurd this is. If there were magic male enhancement pills - any pill - that made your dick bigger, it would be given to men at birth. Your father would insist upon it, no matter what the cost. Just like a pill won’t make you taller, it also won’t increase the size of your manhood. This myth has been debunked so many times. The world-renowned Mayo Clinic wrote all about its comprehensive findings here.
Actually, in many cases, this is true. Not because the gas station pills contain special herbal and all-natural components as they claim, but because they’re often laced with the active ingredients found in phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5) inhibitors such as Viagra (sildenafil), Cialis (tadalafil), and other prescription erectile dysfunction medications. It's illegal. And it’s very dangerous. The FDA conducted the largest study to date of these Gas Station sexual enhancement products and found that they contained undisclosed levels of active erectile dysfunction prescriptions. These components are not listed, may have dangerous side-effects, including death, when they interact with nitrates in prescription medication used to treat people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease.
The male orgasm is a complex phenomenon and there are no herbal ingredients in common Gas Station Pills that will enhance the climax experience. Medically speaking, the sexual climax occurs once sufficient intensity and duration of sexual stimulation surpass an ejaculatory “threshold.” The sexual climax consists of three phases: emission, ejaculation, and orgasm. When a certain threshold of sexual stimulation is surpassed, emission occurs, in which secretions from the prostate gland, seminal vesicles, epididymis, and vas deferens are deposited into the urethra within the prostate gland. During ejaculation the pelvic floor muscles contract rhythmically, sending wave-like contractions rippling down the urethra to forcibly propel the semen in a pulsating and explosive eruption. Orgasm is the intense emotional excitement that accompanies the physical act of ejaculation. Want to improve your orgasms? Try strengthening your pelvic muscles with Kegel exercises here is how to make your orgasms more orgasmic.
In some cases, this is can be true. Once again, not because they contain special things; herbal and "all-natural elements" as they claim, but because they are laced with the active ingredients found in prescription drugs such as anti-depression medications known as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors or (SSRIs). One of the main side-effects of SSRI’s is delayed ejaculation. However, these powerful anti-depression medications can be extremely dangerous if taken without a prescription or physicians’ guidance. This is illegal and yet another reason why you should steer clear of them at all costs.
We have no idea and zero confidence in them. And nobody really does the promises are way too good to be true. The simple fact is that these pills are completely unregulated. While all supplements do not require FDA certification, these male enhancement pills are not even assembled in factories. The unlisted and unknown ingredients are typically produced overseas, shipped to the United States in bulk, and assembled by the service stations and convenience store owners themselves. Seriously? Yes, Vice News produced a shocking documentary on the production process.
When it comes to fake viagra pills and these male enhancement pills, the claims don’t stand up either as well as the active ingredient or any claim to male enhancement. And when they do, it’s for all the wrong reasons and comes with many health risks. Save your money. Protect your dick. Don’t be fooled!
