I use this pump primarily as a therapeutic device, an exercise tool three times a week. But I also use it to occasionally to get prepared for intimacy with my spouse. Works very well for either purpose.

As a therapy device, I use it in the morning while getting washed and dressed for work, etc. The pump can be used with or without water. So I start by using it dry, putting it on for 4-5 minutes while I am brushing my teeth or shaving. The neck strap is essential for this purpose. After two "sets" dry, I get in the shower and finish with the last set of 5 minutes using water. Dry and wet work about the same, but the sealing when wet is tighter and so, the vacuum is a bit more effective. After three "sets" of 5 minutes each, the penis is much larger width wise and fully engorged. As with any erection, it will subside over several hours. The benefit though is easier fill on command when aroused and greater girth than previously. I have not seen improvements in length, but girth, for sure. And a noticeable difference in partner satisfaction, not to mention my own.

As a prep device for intimacy, I will use the pump dry for 3-4 minutes and one set. It is enough to stimulate everything for success for intimacy.
